We all know that a great playground can turn a family day out from āokayā to amazing. Whether you live here or youāre visiting sunny Murcia with the little ones, weāve pulled together our personal favourites. Playgrounds that are clean, shaded, fun, and perfect for all ages.
All of these are pram friendly, picnic friendly, and parent approved. Letās go play!
š La Pandilla de Drilo Park (Molina de Segura)

This bright, music-themed park is all about imagination and it is centred on Drilo el CocodriloĀ and friends, a beloved Murcian childrenās icon.
Toilets: Yes
Benches: Picnic tables and shaded seating
CafƩ: Kiosk open on weekends for snacks and drinks
Facilities: Four distinct play zones (including a sports area and a train themed section, zip lines, climbing frames, rubber surfaced safety flooring, and shady tree cover. Please note this park can get very busy during the weekends.
Why we love it: It really is one of the best parks we have seen in the area! The grassy hill also gives off Teletubbies vibes! There are bright themed zones, zip lines, and creative play spaces that children adore. After a visit our girls talk about it for days!
š³ Avenida Libertad Wooden Forest-Themed Play Area (Murcia City Centre)

Shopping in the city centre with kids? This is your secret weapon. Right on the pedestrian walkway is a beautifully designed wooden play area, split into two zones, one for younger children and one for older and it is complete with canopies and safe flooring.
Toilets: Not onsite, but nearby in El Corte InglƩs or local cafƩs

CafƩ: Loads of options just steps away
Why we love it: Itās clean, shaded, and right in the middle of the action. Perfect for keeping kids happy and giving them a bit of fresh air between browsing the shops. And no dust or mess ...just lovely, natural feel play.

A spectacular 10āÆm-high climbing structure shaped like a lemon tree, designed by XogoāGalopĆn to celebrate play and Murciaās citrus heritage.

Why we love it: A striking, adventurous climb for older children. Plus those sunset climbs in summer are magical! Just check the onāsite staff for current opening times.

This area is a real haven for families, not just one playground, but lots of parksĀ nestled across the residential development. Each playground offers rubber safety flooring, shade sails, and natural shade from the sun, which is perfect during the summer months!
Play Zones: Absolutely loads of play areas, we lost count!
Shade: Plenty! Thanks to canopy sails over each play area and surrounded by tree cover.
Toilets: None onsite (good idea to prepare ahead).
Benches: Available throughout for rest and supervision.
CafƩ: None within the development
Why we love it: It feels like a small park town, it is calm, safe, and with options for toddlers and older kids alike. We love taking a family walk from one playground to the next, enjoying the greenery, fresh air, and generous shade. Ideal all year round!
šæ JardĆn de Floridablanca (Murcia City)
š Plaza de la Glorieta, 30001 Murcia
Spainās oldest public garden is a beautiful place to slow down. Giant ficus and jacaranda trees line the walkways, and there's a sweet little play area tucked between sculptures and fountains. A peaceful spot for little ones to explore.
Toilets: Yes! Public toilets are located at the southern end of the garden near Puente Viejo.

CafƩ: Just outside the gates
Why we love it: The whole garden feels calming, shaded, and totally pram friendly. The perfect for a gentle start to your day.
